Attractive vegan shoes are out there, and they come at all price levels. Seek and ye shall find!!! These are the best sites I have found. I keep coming up with new shoe sources, so please do check back!

First, google “synthetic leather shoes” or “faux leather shoes”. I have had more success with “faux leather” and “faux suede”

JustFab.com  Cute fashionable footwear at affordable prices. Not a vegan outfit per se, but everything I saw there had manmade uppers and composition soles (i.e., vegan)

Of course, if you walk around your town, you may find cheap clothing stores which also sell shoes — often the shoes and boots they sell will be vegan, i.e., pleather. I often duck into cheap stores (often the names include “$10 and up”, but, just as often, I am tipped off that it is a cheap store because the clothes I see in the windows put me off — because of my cultural and religious beliefs, I would never wear anything like that) and find fair selections of vegan-friendly shoes and accessories.

Check out PayLess, KMart, Target, Sears, and even places like 9West and Bass (I have gotten cool pleather boots from both 9West and Bass in the past 2 years).    Anymore, you just don’t know who is making vegan choices, and you have to have a look-see.  Most vegan shoes are very reasonably priced, but there are some up there in the designer-price range (I count myself lucky that I don’t like most of the higher priced ones).
