THE MASTER CLEANSER “LEMONADE DIET”
What it is good for, and how to do it properly.

The purpose of the Master Cleanser is to

  • Dissolve and eliminate toxins and congestion in any part of the entire body.
  • Cleanse the kidneys and the digestive system.
  • Purify the glands and cells throughout the eliminate all unusable waste and hardened material in the joints and muscles.
  • Relieve pressure and irritation in the nerves, arteries, and blood vessels.
  • Build a healthy blood stream.
  • Keep youth and elasticity regardless of age.

Use the Master Cleanser

  • For all acute and chronic conditions, and whenever sickness has developed.
  • To give the digestive system a rest and a cleansing.
  • To lose weight
  • To improve assimilation and building of body tissue.

According to Stanley Burroughs, author of The Master Cleanser and designer of the Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet, through use of the Master Cleanser:

All mucous diseases, such as colds, flu, asthma, hay fever, sinus, and bronchial troubles are rapidly dissolved and eliminated from the body, leaving the user free from … allergies….. The types of disease which are a result of calcium deposits in the joints, muscles, cells, and glands are readily dissolved and removed from the body. Cholesterol deposits in the arteries and veins also respond to the magic cleansing power of the lemonade diet.

All skin disorders [including boils, abscesses, carbuncles, and pimples] also disappear…… Alcoholics, smokers, and other drug addicts will receive untold benefits from this diet……The usual cravings experienced and suffered in breaking away from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco no longer present themselves during and after this diet.”

How Long Should You Follow the Master Cleanser?
The Master Cleanser should be followed for a minimum of 10 days to gain health benefits. For extremely serious health issues, or simply for more benefits, it can safely be followed for up to 40 days. All the nutrition needed during this time is provided by the diet.

Many people choose to follow the Master Cleanser 4 times a year at the season changes. It may be undertaken more often in the case of serious conditions.

What Are the Ingredients?
Fresh Lemon or Lime Juice – Use only fresh lemons or limes, never canned or frozen.

Cayenne Pepper – Breaks up mucus and increases warmth by building the blood. Adds many B and C vitamins.

Spring or Purified Water

Organic Grade B Maple Syrup – Grade B maple syrup has more minerals and more maple taste than Grade A (and it is cheaper). be sure not to use the maple syrup flavored sugar syrup. (Grade C is even cheaper, and it can be used, but the taste is too strong for most people).

Maple syrup has many minerals and vitamins: sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, copper, phosphorus, sulphur, chlorine, silicon, and Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, nicotinic acid, and pantothenic acid.
This is one case where non-organic is unacceptable. Non-organic maple syrup is produced with formaldehyde.

Maple Syrup Is Not Raw. What Are The Alternatives?
Some people are concerned about using maple syrup because it is not raw.

Fresh raw sugar cane juice:An alternate formula offered by Burroughs uses 10 oz. fresh raw sugar cane juice, where available.

Sorghum: Burroughs also mentions pure sorghum as a possible substitute, cautioning that sorghum should not be used by diabetics, and that the benefits obtained when using sorghum are not even close to those from maple syrup.

What About Honey?
Burroughs strongly cautions against the use of honey, as it is deficient in calcium and has detrimental effects. It also stimulates insulin production, precipitating hypoglycemia and aggravating diabetes.
Honey, which is (and there is no way to put this delicately) the vomit of bees, is not a vegan product.


HOW TO DO THE MASTER CLEANSE

EVERY NIGHT:
Drink a laxative tea each night, starting with the night before beginning. Laxatea and Smooth Move are two good, pleasant-tasting laxative teas available in health food stores. (DO NOT take commercial laxatives.)

aEVERY MORNING:

Mix a Salt Water Flush:
2 level t un-ioidized sea salt
1 qt warm water

Mix thoroughly and drink completely.

Several eliminations will likely occur. (Allow yourself at least an extra 1-1/2 hours to complete the flush)

(If, for whatever reason, it is not possible to take the salt water flush, then a laxative tea must be taken in the morning, as well as the evening).

Why take the salt water flush?
The salt water has the specific gravity of blood.
It quickly washes the entire digestive tract in about one hour. Because it has the same specific gravity as blood, the kidneys do not pick up the water and the blood does not pick up the salt.

b –Prepare the “lemonade”:2 T lemon or lime juice (approximately 1/2 lemon). . Use organic lemons if possible.
2 T organic Grade B maple syrup
1/10 t cayenne pepper powder (red pepper)
10 oz. water (spring or purified)`

Combine ingredients. (If using organic lemons, blend part of the lemon skin and pulp for further cleansing and laxative effect. If lemons are not organic, use only the pulp.)

NOTE: You can make up your day’s lemonade in advance to take with you.

INSTRUCTIONS
Drink 6 to 12 10 oz. glasses of lemonade daily. (As you get hungry, have another glass of lemonade. (Six glasses is enough, but, if you want to drink more, you may.) You may also drink water as desired throughout the day.

NO OTHER FOOD SHOULD BE CONSUMED DURING THE FULL PERIOD OF THE DIET. The lemonade is a complete food in liquid state.
Do not take vitamin pills or other nutritional supplements.
Never vary the amount of lemon juice in the formula. (If desired, after pouring lemon formula into a glass, add more water.)

Follow the diet for at least 10 days, and as long as 40 days.

BREAKING THE LEMONADE DIET

1 – FIRST TWO DAYS
Drink several 8 oz. Glasses of fresh orange juice, as desired, during the day (orange juice may be diluted, if desired).

This prepares the digestive system to properly digest and assimilate regular food.

2 – THIRD DAY

  • Orange juice in the morning.
  • Raw fruit lunch
  • Raw fruit or vegetables for dinner.

3 – FOURTH DAY

  • Resume normal eating.

Best results will be had with having Master Cleanse lemonade or fruit juice for breakfast and following a raw vegan diet (raw fruit, nuts, seeds, vegetables)
