Of course, if you know someone who is making water kefir, you could get the grains from them. Likewise, if you want a kombucha mother, you can ask someone who is making kombucha for a “baby”
These two outfits have been around for a while and are known to deliver quality product. If I couldn’t get free cultures from friends, I would go to them.
