Here are two organizations which will help you locate a CSA in your area.
IN NEW YORK CITY: JustFood
NOTE: If you are in New York City, and you cannot afford to pay the CSA fee up front, check out Corbin Hill Food Project — You may have to travel a bit out of your way for your pick-up, but they allow you to pay weekly, and you can also “put your share on hold” if you notify them a week in advance (you can do this if you are going on vacation, or even if you just cannot afford to pay for the week’s share”, and you can do this as often as you need to. This is a very flexible plan. They have several pick-up spots in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx.
