THIS IS WHAT THEY SAY WE WILL GET:
Green Romaine Lettuce – 1 hd
Green Batavian Lettuce – 1 hd
Swiss Chard – 1 bun
Scallions – 1 bun
Broccoli – 1 bun
Zucchini – several pcs
Onions – several pcs
Radicchio – 1 hd
Beets – OR-Carrots – 1 bun
FRUIT SHARE –
Blueberries – 1 container
Gooseberries – 1 container
While I’m waiting, in the next two days, I will look for some new recipes for blueberries and gooseberries.
On Thursday evening, I hope I’ll be able to trade the chard for something else.
I expect I’ll make a salad with the radicchio (it is usually small), and I’ll put the lettuce together with an apple and a tomato, and maybe a red bell pepper as a smoothie.
I’m looking forward to the beets or carrots – I’ll make juice with them this time, I think.
Of course, I’m thrilled about getting zucchini (it’s been expensive this year). I’m looking forward to some zucchini pasta with sun-dried tomatoes from last year’s batch. Yum! I have some almonds, so I’ll probably make the tomato sauce with almonds to give it a “meaty” texture.
