7/14/08 CSA SHARE: What they say we will get

Here is what they say we will get on Thursday.

CIPPOLINI ONIONS…1 bunch
CARROTS……………..1 bunch
BEETS………………….1 bunch
CABBAGE……………..1 head
BASIL………………….1 bunch
FRESH GARLIC………2 heads
ZUCCHINI……………2
CUCUMBERS…………2

Hooray!!! Look!!!!  NO LETTUCE!!!!!!  I don’t care how many times I get beets, zucchini, cabbage, or cucumbers, but I don’t live close enough to my friend Steven, who writes Raw Dish! , who can easily eat a head of lettuce (straight!!!) at one sitting, to be able to share this lettuce bounty with him.  (I am following  his recipes for green smoothies)
